Join us on a New Year journey of self-discovery through the practice of mindfulness. Change your focus and increase your awareness so that, rather than simply reacting or relying on old habits, you can respond creatively to each situation in your life. Learn how to turn the stress response into the relaxation response and reconnect with your authentic self! Chapel Hill Pediatric Psychology is pleased to offer their second Stress Management Course.
INSTRUCTOR: Naeda Irick has a Master of Arts degree from The University of Chicago. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CA), a Bikram Yoga Certified Instructor , an Integral Yoga Certified Stress Management Instructor and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She has practiced yoga for eleven years, taught yoga for nine years and seen the power of yoga transform lives.
DETAILS: The Course will meet for six Sundays, January 3rd to February 7th, 2010, from 2-3:30 P.M. Participation is open to the public. Tuition is $250.
REFRESHER SESSION: Graduates of the inaugural 2009 course may register for a one hour class on Sunday, Januaary 3rd, 2010, from 1-2 P.M. for $25.
